How It All Began
Ever since I started singing as a young child, I knew I was destined to be a performer. In 2019, I began my career as a Wedding Singer by offering my voice and professional performance. With an ever-expanding song list that is full of variety, it’s my joy and pleasure to sing for you at your private event. Whether you’re planning a wedding, music for your birthday, or corporate events, you can book me and I can assure you and your guests will travel into a magical and unforgettable musical journey.
Nair Gimenez (known as Naia by her fans and closest circle ) is an Argentine soprano based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, a highly multi-skilled Professional Singer, whose beautiful voice and profound musicality have captivated every audience she met. With her strong foundation in classical training, Naia pursued her Master's degree in Opera Performance in the Netherlands, at Conservatorium Maastricht with Mtra. Yvonne Schiffelers. Along her career Naia's dedication and talent led her to participate in masterclasses with esteemed artists such as Gustavo Lioez Manzitti, Joyce DiDonato, and Raul Gimenez, she also played in more than 10 music festivals as Cantamerica Cordoba, Grachtenfestival Amsterdam, and Musica Sacra Maastricht further enriching her artistic interpretation and stage presence.
Given her background as a versatile classical singer, she possesses a deep understanding of musical techniques and performance. Additionally, her extensive study of musical theater from a young age has equipped her with the skillset to effortlessly transition into singing various genres. Naia studied Musical Theater in Buenos Aires (Act & Art) and later on she won a scholarship for the prestigious Point Park Collegue in Pittsburgh, PN, USA.
Currently based in Amsterdam, Naia's passion for music extends beyond traditional performances. She co-founded the virtuoso ensemble "Muziek in de Wind" that plays Opera and music from the romantic period.
With her unwavering dedication to her craft, Naia continues to share her exquisite talent through breathtaking performances, captivating audiences with her impeccable technique, expressive delivery, and unwavering passion for music. Her artistry leaves an indelible mark, making her a highly sought-after classical singer in the world of music.
